So for those of you who might have heard of Tales of the Cocktail, but are not sure what it is, I will try to explain. Quite simply, Tales is the annual epic festival of the Bar industry. Think along the lines of MacWorld(sans the lanyards), except for much cooler people...(yeah, I said it...come on, have a sense of humor!) Once a year, bartenders and insiders alike from around the world converge in New Orleans for a few days of cocktail demos, tastings, seminars, competitions, and a cocktail or two. This year, the event runs from July 16th-July 20th. So if your usual barkeep has suddenly gone missing, have no fear, it is merely a brief hiatus.
